Tony Cripps passed away in the early hours of 16th January at the age of 78.  As many will know in the club Tony was probably the first concours restorer of Brough Superiors in the 1960s and ’70s.  All his restorations have been to an incredibly high standard and as such has left an important legacy.  I believe his most recent restoration was the ex Lawrence of Arabia SS100.

He will be missed and condolences go to his wife Barbara.

From Tim Ball:
A true gent in every way, I have a lovely photo of him sat on my Brough chop, his comment "Timothy this is the worst day of my life " will live with me forever.

The funeral for Tony will be on Tuesday 12th February at 2pm at the Poole Crematorium,  Gravel Hill, Broadstone, Bournemouth, Poole, BH17 9BQ. Pole Crematorium is signposted on A349 towards Poole from A31 Wimborne Bypass.

MESSAGE FROM BARBARA CRIPPS:

My heartfelt thanks to all Brough Club friends who have sent kind messages, letters and cards of sympathy on the loss of my beloved Tony.
