| Wiltshire Rally October 2011 |

The Wiltshire Rally was held in fantastic weather based on Hugh and Eileen Buttle's farm. 16 Broughs, including 5 petrol tube sidecars, participated at some stage over the weekend. Saturday saw a run out to the Avebury stone circle World Heritage Site and Silbury Hill chalk mound (where unfortunately Chairman John Wallis's JAP SS100 was diagnosed with internal engine problems.) A super run back across the Downs was then followed by a sumptuous sit-down meal at the farm. Sunday's run was to the Swindon and Cricklade Railway with a trip up the track and tour of the engine sheds and signal box.. Then a visit to Bill Little's bike emporium where all manner of interesting machines were viewed. A great weekend and very many thanks to Hugh and Eileen for impeccable organisation and kind hospitality. Click here view the photos

COB 838 after it had run out of steam in Yorkshire with another eight-cylinder BWD 620 and a Railton behind.
The only three BLACK eight cylinder BS cars in existence after a
refreshing stop at the Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge
near Castleton during a Railton Car Club Rally in July 2010.
