BSC 50th Anniversary Rally

2008 is the 50th Anniversary of the Brough Superior Club. To commemorate this event it is holding a week of activities, taking in Brooklands, Clouds Hill and Pendine Sands, finishing with the main Rally in Nottingham on 17th August. This will be followed by a further week of activities for Club Members, in the Nottingham area - the home of Brough Superiors.

Saturday 9th August Brooklands Race Track and Museum at Weybridge, Surrey with Broughs riding the Test Hill there. Subsequently riding in convoy to Dorset.
Sunday 10th August  A visit to Clouds Hill and the Bovington Tank Museum, T. E. Lawrence’s grave and other related sites. The next day remaining in Dorset with possible visits to the Sammy Miller Museum and Beaulieu in the New Forest.
Tuesday 12th August Riding in convoy to the Brecon area of Wales with possible stops en route.
Wednesday 13th August A Visit to Pendine Sands Museum to ride on the famous beach.
Thursday 14th August Flexible day for participants to do as they wish, a visit to view a small collection of BS cars (including the unique V-12) is an option.
Friday 15th August Riding in convoy from Brecon area to Nottingham with possible visit to the National Motorcycle Museum at Birmingham.
Saturday 16th August Visits to Brough Superior related sites in and around Nottingham
Sunday 17th August  Annual Rally at The National Watersports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham less than two miles from the City Centre. At least 130 Brough Superiors are expected to be on show—and ridden in a cavalcade. Entrance to the site is free.  From 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

The following week there will be a programme of events run by the Club. These events will include visits to:

Monday 18th August Rolls Royce Aero Engine Museum and either Triumph Motorcycle factory or Coningsby Airfield for the Memorial Flight.
Tuesday 19th August  JCB factory.
Wednesday 20th August Loughborough Bell Foundry and Museum and Calke Abbey
Thursday 21st August Sudbury Hall
Friday 22nd August Crich Tramway Museum and Chatsworth House. Barbecue for Members at Bakewell.
