MIKE EDWARDS MEMORIAL RALLY - MAY

The Mike Edwards Memorial Rally will be held over the bank holiday weekend, 4th-7th May 2012. It will be based at Tim and Jo Ball's place, North West of Nottingham. Camping will be available. More details will follow. Please contact Tim Ball for further information.

TEESDALE RALLY - JULY

Three days in the Teesdale/Weardale Valley area which is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are excellent motorcycling roads in this very quiet and isolated country area, certainly not as busy as the Lake District. 

Based in the old lead-mining town of Middleton-In-Teesdale, County Durham, the “base” hotel, B&B's and camping are all very close. The plan is to base ourselves around the Teesdale Hotel which has secluded off-street courtyard parking for motorcycles and cars.

A number of visitor attractions are within easy reach, the market town of Barnard Castle, The Bowes Museum, Raby Castle, High and Low Force waterfalls, the World Heritage site of Cow Green Reservoir with very rare flora and the Killhope Wheel Lead Mining Museum. However, really it is the riding country roads that make the difference. Please contact John Morris for further information.

AGM - OCTOBER

The AGM will be held on 20th October 2012 at the White Horse, 1 Stocks Hill, Silverstone, Towcester, Northamptonshire NN12 8UW. The White Horse is 9 miles from junction 15a of the M1 and easily accessible from the A43. It has a sizeable room on the first floor that will hold just over 50 people for the meetings and dinner. There are good bar facilities downstairs and the bar meals menu is varied. Dinner will be available. Bed and Breakfast accommodation is available in the village and at the Green Man Inn on the A43 nearby. Please contact Terry Hobden for further information.
